CLEF 2006 - WORKSHOP LOGISTICS

The CLEF 2006 Workshop will be held on the Campus of the University of Alicante, see map. On this map you can see the buildings where the conference will be held:

                            - Building 16 for the Real Time QA exercise

                            - Building 30 for the remaining activities

                            - The Conference bus stop (Aulario General 2)

                            - TAM bus stop: north access to the Colegio Mayor (between buildings 29 and  16)

                            - The place of the workshop dinner, (20 September, Number 1- Hotel Meliá)

                            - The exact places where conference buses (Number 1) can be taken 

                                                    Departure: Meliá Hotel at 8:30 am

                                                    Return: Aulario General 2, after last session ends

                            - The location of the Old Casino of Alicante where the Workshop reception will be offered (21 September). 

                            - The place where TAM buses (24/34) can be taken (Mercado Central, Calle San Vicente)

There are several bus lines to the University of Alicante by TAM (Transporte Alicante Metropolitano):

                             - Línea 24: Alicante-University (approx. every 8 minutes)

                             - Línea 24N: Alicante-University (nights)

                             - Línea 34: Alicante-University (direct, approx. every 11 minutes).

Tickets can be bought at news agents:

                             Single ticket: 0.95 euros

                             10-trip bus ticket: 5.50 euros

                             30-trip bus ticket: 16.50 euros.
